This is creating many new challenges for keeping training up-to-date, but also new opportunities. For example, getting our training done now, rather than after we physically re-enter the workplace, means higher productivity once normal operations resume.
ODT courses can help us use our time more effectively, by enabling us to access and complete training modules on a variety of EHS subjects and take them on their own time - including modules on topics relevant to the current pandemic such as respirator fit testing (RFT) and personal protective equipment (PPE). They can also help us fulfill our general workforce training obligations as outlined in global standards such as ISO 45001.
Attend our new webinar for a discussion of the value of ODT training within an EHS management system, and its added relevance during periods of disruption such as the current pandemic.
